Why is it so important to treat peptic ulcers?

Peptic ulcer disease – left untreated, it can lead to much more serious problems

If Helicobacter pylori is present, gastritis is likely also a concern. Gastritis involves inflammation of the lining of the stomach, which can encourage the development of ulcers in the stomach over time. Gastritis and even peptic ulcers are generally not difficult to treat. Ignoring the symptoms is a mistake, though, as in the worst case an ulcer can degenerate into stomach cancer.

What is the deeper cause of peptic ulcers?

Helicobacter pylori is a kind of bacteria that lives in the mucosal layer of the stomach, where it finds ideal conditions as the lining of the stomach offers just the right level of oxygen for the bacteria to successfully multiply. As part of its life cycle this bacteria produces ammonia, which neutralises stomach acid. Additionally, H. pylori bacteria produces another material that negatively alters the metabolism of the cells of the stomach lining, indirectly leading to the production of increased quantities of stomach acid. This can result in chronic inflammation, and in later stages ulcers can develop in the stomach or intestinal tract as a result.

Why did I develop a peptic ulcer?

According to official data, about 30% of people living in Western Europe are infected with Helicobacter pylori, though only about 10% of infected people develop gastritis, peptic ulcers, or intestinal ulcers. Eating at random times or eating too much of a particular type of food can bring the stomach out of balance, likewise a weakened immune system (for example due to smoking or alcohol consumption) and long-term use of certain types of medication (pain relievers and anti-inflammatories) as well as ongoing stress that is not resolved in a healthy way. Additionally, a shock to the body can trigger a bout of gastritis, and in later stages an ulcer, for example a serious injury or a major surgery. These factors can produce an imbalance between stomach acid production and the protective function of the lining of the stomach, wherein the stomach acid attacks the stomach wall and inflammation results. If the inflammation is not addressed, an ulcer can develop.

What can one proactively do about peptic ulcer disease?

For the middle and long term, it’s important to make better choices about how to live a more healthy life and eliminate the factors that may lead to the development of stomach ulcers. To treat the condition when it’s acute, you should use Bentomed, our tried and tested remedy for digestive system complaints, for a period of three weeks.

The effects of Bentomed

Immediately after drinking Bentomed, excessive stomach acid is taken up and encouraged to pass in the stool, lessening strain on the stomach lining. Bentomed effectively fights inflammation and kills bacteria, e.g. Helicobacter pylori, which encourages peptic ulcers to heal and disappear. In addition, Bentomed regulates and normalises the digestion while supporting the body in establishing balance between stomach acid production and the protective role of the stomach lining.

Bentomed

Fight peptic ulcer disease in a 100% pure and natural way!

This is how Bentomed works against peptic ulcers

Bentomed is a fine powder that is mixed with water before ingesting. The main ingredient in Bentomed is natural Gossendorf fango, a product of volcanic activity that is only found in a formerly volcanic region in the south-east of Austria. This area of the province of Styria is under official protection, and the unique healing clay is treated with utmost care during processing. Additionally, Bentomed contains organic barley grass and naturally pure plant essences. In the morning and evening, stir a teaspoon of Bentomed into 250ml of water (a little less than half a pint) and swallow the mixture in sips. For a more detailed description of how to use Bentomed, please see the package insert.

1. Binds to excessive stomach acid

Gossendorf fango healing clay, the primary ingredient in Bentomed, takes up excessive stomach acid like a sponge, encouraging it to pass out of the body in the stool. This immediately relieves strain on the stomach lining. Gossendorf fango consists of very fine particles of clay with a large surface area as well as a great number of tiny canals within the particles. The canals naturally add to the available surface area. Just a single gram of our dry healing clay has an effective surface area of over 10 square meters. When Gossendorf fango comes into contact with water, the so-called swelling effect increases the surface area still further. The more surface area available, the more effectively the clay can bind to excessive stomach acid.

2. Reduces inflammation and kills bacteria

The main ingredient in Bentomed, natural Gossendorf fango, contains sulphur, electrolytes and minerals. It quickly inhibits inflammatory processes of the lining of the intestinal tract. Recent research conducted by one of our research partners, the Austrian Research Institute, has shown there to be an even higher level of effectiveness in controlling Helicobacter pylori than was previously realised. For this reason, Bentomed should not only be considered useful in the treatment of acute peptic ulcer symptoms, rather it also fights the Helicobacter pylori bacteria that plays a role in the development of the condition.

3. Provides vital nutrients

Due to the plethora of vital nutrients it contains, barley grass is one of the most valuable foodstuffs in the world. Over the last 40 years, Japanese researcher Dr. Yoshihide Hagiwara has conducted numerous studies looking into more that 250 foods that contain chlorophyll. His analysis revealed that barley grass contains more nutrients that any of the other researched plants. Due to the plethora of vital nutrients it contains, barley grass is one of the most valuable foodstuffs in the world. It contains calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C, iron, potassium, vitamin E, vitamin K, folic acid, pantothenic acid, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, zinc, sulphur, chlorine, copper, selenium, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, and silicon. In addition, it contains chlorophyll, important enzymes that function as antioxidants, and amino acids. It’s important to mention here that barley grass contains all of these substances in their natural forms so the body can make optimal use of them. It has been scientifically proven that barley grass supplies the body with essential nutrients, a deficiency of which can trigger ulcerative colitis or make flare-ups even worse.
