Rosacea develops in a number of different ways. In medical terminology, there are grades of severity (from one to three). In the first phase, the skin is red and small pimples appear, although in later stages of this skin condition the connective tissue and sebaceous glands can become clumpy and thick. This kind of overgrowth is sometimes called a “bulb”. It’s easy to understand that effective rosacea treatment should begin sooner rather than later. If left untreated or treated incorrectly, it can become worse and worse over time.
What is the actual cause of rosacea?
Rosacea, previously referred to as acne rosacea or elderly acne, is an inflammatory condition that mostly affects the face. It seldom appears before one is 30 years old, and usually not before 40. It involves the dilation of blood vessels, resulting in a reddening of the skin. During some phases, the inflammation can also affect the sebaceous glands, which in turn often leads to the development of puss-filled blisters and pimples. The precise cause of this condition is unclear to this day. The important thing to keep in mind about the development of rosacea is the connection to the inflammatory reaction of the skin due to the increased presence of microorganisms. To put it briefly, there is an accumulation of bacteria on the skin and the skin reacts.
Why do I have rosacea now?
Some specific triggers, including stress, can lead to the development of rosacea or make existing symptoms more severe. Among the factors that lead to rosacea include chemicals in cosmetics and skincare products, heat, cold and UV light as well as nicotine or alcohol consumption. The mineral mask is a wet and creamy mask that is normally applied to the face, though it can actually be used for any area of the skin in need of treatment. The primary ingredient in the mineral mask is Gossendorf natural fango, which is only found in a formerly volcanic region of Styria, a province in the south-east of Austria. The location where this clay is found is a protected area, and it is handled with utmost care throughout processing. In addition, the mineral mask contains special plant essences. After gently washing, a thin layer of the mineral mask is applied to the skin and allowed to work for about 20 minutes, then it is rinsed off with lukewarm water.
